Whatever the time of year, a windproof shell is a staple part of a well-stocked riding arsenal, with few of us heading out without one. They've patterned this ultralight windproof/water-repellent shell as part of the UMA GT collection to provide essential protection year-round. They've incorporated a high stretch and breathable material on the side panels for greater freedom of movement. Additionally, the dual layer collar construction improves elasticity and comfort while riding.

Features

Fabrics -On the front they've used their proprietary Foil Ultra windproof, water-repellent, ripstop, lightweight woven fabric. Their Glossy warp-knit windproof textile comes to the fore on the side panels to provide stretch and breathability. Up top theyimplemented a dual layer collar construction for freedom of movement and comfort.

Construction/Fit -Cut in their female-specific regularFit, this is a comfort-focused, easy-to-throw-on piece for essential protection and minimum volume. As an extra feature, they've deployed a rustle-free design that is as acoustically innocuous as possible.

Engineering -DWR: As not every day comes with unbroken sunshine, they've treated this product with their DWR (Durable Water Repellent) to shed light precipitation.
