The BBB Tithon helmet represents the pinnacle of equilibrium between aerodynamic efficiency and thermal comfort.

Over the past two years, BBB witnessed a transition in helmet design philosophy, shifting away from models centered around ventilation towards designs that prioritize sleek aerodynamics. BBB recognized that this emphasis on aerodynamics has sometimes compromised rider comfort by sacrificing ventilation. Teaming up with the Advanced Embodiment Design experts at the Technical University of Delft, BBB embarked on an extensive exploration of the thermodynamic and aerodynamic characteristics of cycling helmets. Right from the inception of the BBB design process, their chief objective was to uncover the perfect balance between minimal drag and superior ventilation. Armed with these invaluable insights, BBB collaborated closely with TU Delft's 3D modeling team, conducted rigorous wind tunnel testing on multiple prototypes, and finally concluded what stands as the most challenging development journey for any BBB product—a triumph called the Tithon helmet. It embodies an optimal fusion of speed and rider comfort, a concept our pro cyclists affectionately call "Free Speed."
