Colnago V3Rs SRAM RED eTap AXS Limited Edition Complete
The V3Rs is the latest release from Colnago, set to replace the bike commonly picked by UAE Team Emirates, the V2R. The V3Rs offers neat cable integration, dropped seat stays, increased tyre clearance and a redesigned, more aero geometry. It is also offered in a disc-brake and direct-mount rim version. When comparing to the V2R, the V3Rs is also 12% stiffer at the rear, and 6% at the front, and the frame is 50 grams lighter.
The disc version has exclusive, fully integrated cabling, using Colnago's own stem and special threaded fork steerer tube to route both the hydraulic hoses and electronic shift wires through the stem and into the head tube. This integrated cockpit, combined with dropped seat stays and truncated tube shapes makes it more aerodynamic and in turn faster than the V2R. The V3Rs has also been optimised for 28c tyres, though the geometry and fork have been redesigned to maintain a race bike fit and feel. This has been achieved by lowering the bottom bracket and increasing the fork length.
