In case you missed it, the GC2018 mountain bike trails are now open for riding. The new trails are located alongside the existing trail network at Nerang National Park, making the already popular location an even more exciting MTB destination for South East Queensland riders.
Built to international standards with help from trail development specialist Dirt Art, the three new loops each offer different styles of riding:
Loop 1: A fast flow trail packed full of jumps, drops, and berms. The trail is less than 1 km from top to bottom, which means it's only a short ride back to the top to do it again.

Loop 2: If you're looking for a more challenging trail, then this one is for you. There are a number of steeper technical sections, with rocks, rocks, and more rocks. This loop is really suited to the more experienced rider.

Loop 3: The first half of Loop 3 involves a steady but interesting climb to the top of the hill. It's an opportunity to really put the power on and get ahead of your competition. The second half is fast and flows nicely, with berms and jumps scattered along the way.
