Since installing the Huck Norris Inner Rims, the difference has been amazing, and what staggers me is that I have only had one flat in the past six months. Experiencing flats at Gravity Enduro events takes up precious seconds on the clock, kills your race vibe and makes for a really frustrating experience.
Huck Norris is also very easy to install. All you have to do is cut to size according to your wheelset, either 29er or 27.5 (which is clearly stated on inset with a cut mark or indent, respectively), then simply place the inner rim inside of the tyre, seal and complete the steps to fit tubeless tyres. Huck Norris also has plenty of installation guides or tutorials on the internet that are easy to understand.

Weight is also a highlight for me when it comes to the Huck Norris product compared to other flat tyre prevention systems. Huck Norris weighs 80 grams in a 29er size, which is astounding when other quality products can weigh over 260 grams each. Adding any additional weight to your wheelset is not ideal as rotational mass makes the bike feel sluggish and slow to accelerate, and who wants that?
If you are in need of a flat tyre prevention system, I would suggest you get yourself a Huck Norris insert, even if it is only in the rear wheel. The protection of your rims, which aren’t cheap, and the damping effect on the tyre when you hit a rock, allows you to push that bit faster and have more confidence on the trails. Who doesn’t want that?
