Thermoflex fabric along with Castelli's fleeced Nano Flex stretch-woven lower leg for splash protection. Especially good when you don't want a deep-winter tight. The ideal tight for most of your winter riding, the Velocissimo is focused on comfort for riding in mild to cool conditions. Castelli have used their Thermoflex fabric for most of the tight. It's not their warmest fabric, nor does it repel water like Nano Flex, but it is the softest, stretchiest winter tight fabric. The comfort is immediate and lasting. For the lower leg from just below the knee, Castelli switched to their Nano Flex fleeced stretch-woven fabric that's both warm and highly water repellent for protection against spray coming off wet roads. It's also highly stretchy, and Castelli leave a raw edge so they can construct the ankles without zippers while making sure the tight remains easy to put on and take off. The Kiss Air² seat pad and mesh bibs keep your bum and upper body happy, while large reflective detailing keeps you visible.
