The DT Swiss 240 DEG 6-Bolt Rear Hub redefines high engagement freehub systems with its Ratchet DEG System, designed for minimal engagement angle and maximum reliability.

Featuring two enlarged ratchets with 90 teeth, it offers the smallest engagement angle in DT Swiss's lineup. This ensures simultaneous full engagement, providing a larger contact patch and balanced load distribution. On the trail, this translates to more direct acceleration out of corners and quicker pedal position adjustments on technical uphill sections.

Features:

• Achieving a different engagement angle from what DT Swiss has done to date required a significant adaptation to the drive side of the hub. The Ratchet DEG system and its new hub body allow the installation of size-optimized 90-tooth ratchets at 4 degrees
• Made of steel, the DEG ratchets are bigger than all the previous DT Swiss ratchets and aim to transmit the power of even the strongest riders for a long time and across a large contact surface
• The innovative construction of the 240 DEG hub allows bearing replacement without special tools
• 90 points of engagement
