Technical Specifications

• Application: Melt Hyper Wax in a wax heater at 75–85 °C. Ensure the drivetrain is fully degreased and dry before submerging the chain for at least 15 minutes. Remove the chain, allow it to cool to room temperature, and break each link free. Wipe off excess wax with a clean, dry microfibre cloth before remounting.
• Initial run-in: During the first 5 km, excess wax will be expelled and the wax layer will settle. Remove any flakes with a clean, dry microfibre cloth.
• Cleaning: Between applications, wipe the chain with a clean, dry cloth. Use a dry brush to clear wax residue from other drivetrain parts.
• Reapplication: When the chain sounds ‘dry’, repeat the waxing process. The chain can be wiped clean and placed directly into the melted wax without further degreasing.
• Wax replacement: After 10–15 reapplications, replace the wax to maintain drivetrain efficiency and minimise wear.
