In a California workshop one sunny day one ex motocross rider came up with the brilliant idea, and we've been loving them ever since. The Scorpion stand is compatible with nearly all hollow mountain bike cranks. Simply stick the stand arm into the hollow spindle of your crank, and you're done. Once the bike is mounted, the rear tire will sit off the ground and spin freely too, so any gear shifting or other maintenance work will be easy to do.
