Cleat wedge - Speedplay (kit)
Cleat wedges are used to increase foot stability, control and proprioception for cyclists. They are also used to alter knee angle to reduce lateral or medial pain associated with compromised leg tracking.
Cleat wedges angle the rider's shoe/foot by means of changing the angle between cleat and shoe. Each wedge offers 1 degree of tilt and multiple wedges can be used to achieve the desired angle.
Wedges are best fitted during a bike fit session or within a pedalling/power assessment. However, they can also be fitted judiciously by riders themselves providing this is done in a controlled manner.

Speedplay cleat wedges are a 1° road pedal wedge which can be stacked up to 4°. They have a non-slip surface and will work with all Speedplay / Wahoo road pedal systems including Comp, Nano, Zero, Aero and Powrlink power pedals.
