Designed for wide rims, the Griffus 2.5 features a tread compound optimized for front-wheel traction, with lines of aggressive tread blocks for confident cornering and braking grip. The RR Gravity compound features three different rubber densities for the perfect blend of support and suppleness whether you’re sticking a landing or railing a blown-out berm. While the Griffus 2.5 is designed around front tire handling needs, it’s ideal as a rear tire for the most extreme tracks where braking control is paramount.
Born from the Racing Lab, a collaboration of elite athletes and engineers, the Griffus 2.4 is the ultimate rear tire for ripping big lines.
Staggered, offset knobs provide a continuous contact patch for consistent, reliable traction while pedaling or braking, with a low lug height to reduce squirm. The RR Gravity rubber compound features firm structural support overlaid by a softer side density at the surface for cornering traction, with more deformation and slower rebound to help soak up big landings and hard hits. Pair with the Griffus 2.5 front for the perfect enduro combo.

Originally created for our mountain bike tires, this hardy fabric grid layer is integrated into the casing to fend off punctures and cuts from sharp objects. Bead-to-bead coverage means you’re protected on the sidewalls as well as the tread, but it won’t change that sweet Hutchinson ride quality you love.
- RR Gravity: Race Ripost Gravity is dedicated to challenging practice while maintaining rolling capacities. It’s thicker than the RR XC. It is softer and it reacts slower to enhance deformation and grip. It’s the perfect combination between triple-compound and Hardskin reinforcement. Structure compound: 65 ShA. Lateral compound: 39 ShA / Rebound 40%. Central compound: 50 ShA / Rebound 50%.
