K2 Technology
Available in select tires, this Maxxis-exclusive fabric provides greater puncture protection than aramid. The addition of this lightweight and supple material ensures that ride quality and performance remain unsurpassed.
HYPR-S Compound
Building on the success of the HYPR compound which debuted on the original High Road, the new HYPR-S compound retains exceptional grip while decreasing rolling resistance by a further 12% compared to HYPR.

As part of Maxxis' ongoing effort to reduce their environmental impact, the High Road SL will ship in new fully recyclable packaging. The paper box in which the new High Road SL will ship is made from 85-90% post-consumer recycled paper. Look for more innovations in this area as Maxxis expands the use of recycled materials into the construction of tires themselves
