Introducing Muc-Offs latest innovation in tubeless valve technology: The Big Bore Valve range.

Engineered with precision and designed to deliver maximum inflation simply and efficiently, this patent-pending valve sets a new standard and is the benchmark in high air flow tubeless tyre systems with a revolutionary ‘Straight through’ internal design for maximum airflow fire power.

Featuring a cutting-edge, integrated ball valve system, the valve ensures lightning-fast air flow, turbocharging the sealant filling process. Say goodbye to the hassle of traditional tubeless valves that clog up and require the valve core to be removed to fill sealant and achieve sufficient air flow during tubeless set up.

Our Big Bore Hybrid offers up to 254% higher air flow than traditional Presta valves thanks to the straight through bore design.

With our ball valve construction and integrated lever, you can quickly open and close the valve for effortless airflow control, and even fine tune your pressure whilst you're out riding.

Crafted from 7075 aircraft grade CNC machined aluminium construction with a stainless steel ball valve, this fully serviceable valve is built to withstand the toughest rides, whatever the conditions.

Features

• Precision CNC machined from 7075 aircraft grade aluminium
• Coreless, ball valve system opens and closes with integrated lever
• Stainless steel ball valve with seals and o-rings
• Maximum air flow efficiency delivers up to 254% higher flow than Presta valves
• Universal valve head is compatible with most screw on and push fit pumps
• Serviceable design with spanner flats on the head, lever and body
• 4-way tyre insert air flow base is compatible with most tubeless inserts

How To

• First, remove the ball valve body, cap, locking ring & O-ring from the valve stem.
• Then choose the correct rubber base for your rim type. Rims with a curved rim section will use the circular rubber base. Rims with a square rim section will use the square rubber base. Slide this down to the bottom of the valve stem. (If your rim has a larger valve hole and the smaller circular fitment is too loose, use the larger circular fitment to plug the hole).
• Now push the valve stem into the hole in the rim and push it right the way through. Then place the rubber 0-ring onto the valve stem and slide it all the way down until it meets the rim.
• Screw the locking ring onto the valve stem and tighten down above the o-ring. This sandwiches between the locking ring and the rim.
• Firmly tighten the ball valve body onto the stem using your fingers. Now use a 4mm hex to hold the stem base in place inside the rim, and with an 8mm spanner, tighten the valve body to the stem with a quarter turn. Be careful not to over-tighten, which could lead to damaging the O-Ring. (Valve Tool servicing pack available separately). Rotate the body to ensure the lever is pointing towards you. TIP - Use some thread lock such as our Loc-On (available soon!) for an extra secure seal.
• Now push firmly down on the valve base inside the rim as you tighten the locking ring. Keep pushing until the locking ring is hand-tight and the rubber o-ring squashes out slightly. This way you know you've created a good airtight seal. TIP - Don't over-tighten as this can cause leakage.
• Rotate the lever open and fill with Muc-Off Sealant and inflate to your desired PSI! Remember to close the valve so the arrow on the lever is pointing up before removing your pump.
• You're now ready to roll. To adjust psi on the fly simply open the valve slightly to release air to your desired pressure.
