By placing all of the electronics for its 3D30 Power Meter Crankset in the axle, Rotor's INpower technology is cleverly protected from the elements in a shock, contaminant & water resistant cocoon where it has the lower moment of inertia while collecting the data it needs to reveal how well you ride.
With it you can improve your maximum sustainable output, and learn how to race smarter, simply by fine-tuning your pedalling technique and orienting it to your position on the bike. You can accurately assess force variations and also determine where you exert the greatest force in a pedal rotation by conducting a TORQUE 360 and Optimum Chainring Angle (OCA) pedal analysis via the INpower User Software. Data relating to TORQUE 360 and OCA values enable cyclists to orient their Q-Rings around their distinct pedalling characteristics in order to take advantage of their most productive zone.
Power meters have quickly become the go-to measurements tool for riders wanting to truly understand the effort applied during their cycling activities and ROTOR's 30mm crank with Universal Bottom Bracket has made their product accessible to mountain bikers, 'cross racers, and triathletes who are in pursuit of the type of physiological gains previously only enjoyed by road cyclists. Collecting accurate data via a power meter can tell you when its time to turn up the pace, ease off the pedals, do another interval or call it a day. Rotor's 3D30 INpower meter offers four (4) axle-based, strain gauges to measure left leg power output and is believed to produce more accurate and precise data due to higher data sampling rates. You'll also enjoy cleaner data transfer and greater accuracy via the ANT+T protocol without succumbing to interruptions and temperature fluctuations.
Proudly presenting the most sophisticated power metrics in a very elegant, aero-looking crank, the Rotor INpower 3D30 is seamlessly integrated inside the crank axle where it is protected from impacts, crashes, sand, mud, snow or whatever else 'cross can throw at it. The forged and CNC'd cranks are enhanced by proprietary TDS (Triple Drilling Technology) to yield the perfect stiffness-to-weight ratio, and its compact crank spider offers a wide range of chainring compatibility without compromising stiffness. INpower uses a standard AA battery housed inside the bottom bracket spindle which typically lasts 300 hours when fully charged. A rechargeable AA battery can also be used.
If you're an athlete who is committed to reaching their full potential, the Rotor INpower 3D30 Power Meter Crankset, with 175mm arms, will help to define your optimal pedal performance, train with confidence, race smarter and increase your levels of personal satisfaction as you achieve your cycle racing goals with impressive regularity.

Rotor INpower Software
. All Power Meters from ROTOR include a free and comprehensive software package with numerous functions for the setup of the crank as well as for the optimisation of the Tretzy cycle. The INpower rotor can be used to adjust the multiplier, for example, which extrapolates the input force of the second leg in order to achieve even more exact results. This "home training" allows each ROTOR-Power user to regain the potential and balance in the musculoskeletal system. The software can be easily downloaded from the ROTOR web site.
Manufacturer's Notice
. Only use the included crank bolts with INPower crankarms. The bolts used for other crankarms without INPower have a longer thread, which leads to damage to the electronics.
