D4 reigns king atop downhill podiums and freeride events across the globe. Available in carbon and composite, details are what makes the D4 the most coveted full-face in mountain biking. Prioritizing safety while balancing weight through premium construction and materials, D4 incorporates MIPS protection with an EPP chin bar and anatomical cheek pads with emergency release.

MIPS
• MIPS Brain Protection System designed to reduce rotational motion transferred to the brain from angled impacts to the head.

Shell
• Built with an aerospace shell design and materials, Troy Lee Designs were able to get the D4 Composite helmet to 1050 grams without sacrificing any strength.

Cheekpads
• Anatomical "3D" contoured cheek pads with emergency release system for EMS responders.

Liner
• Removable snap-in, washable comfort liner with Coolmax and Dri-Lex moisture-wicking materials.

EPP
• EPP (Expanded PolyPropylene) chin bar

Ventilation
. For comfort, the D4 Comp routes cooling air through a front air intake system that flows through the polymer centre and power grid side mesh keeping your head cooler during the ride.
