Resolve rev2 expands the best-in-class, first-of-its-kind specs of the original Resolve while adding 34.9 diameter, a 242mm travel option, and new internals for 25% lighter actuation and better self-bleeding. It’s lightweight, keeps a low profile, and will perform as expected every time it is needed. It also has a low lifetime cost of ownership because it is covered by Wolf Tooth Right to Repair and is serviceable at home.

Features

• Self-Bleeding Resolve Cartridge: At the heart of Resolve rev2 is a self-bleeding cartridge that removes air from the fluid chamber with every actuation. All dropper posts can get air in the chamber, which leads to sag and squish. Resolve is the only dropper post that purges air from the chamber, and rev2 features even faster self-bleeding when compared to rev1.
• The World’s Longest Travel Dropper Post: Resolve rev2 is the longest travel dropper post on the market. Stock travel options now include 125, 160, 200, and 242mm with travel adjustable in 5mm increments.
• Three Diameters: Resolve rev2 is available in 30.9, 31.6, and 34.9mm diameters. Our entire 34.9mm architecture: stanchion, lower tube, cartridge, and internals, were re-designed and optimized for this larger diameter. This gives Resolve rev2 34.9 the lightest weight and shortest length in its category.
• Spool Valve: Small change, big impact: Introducing the Spool Valve. This update translates to 25% less lever force required to actuate Resolve rev2, and the same low force is required whether the saddle is weighted or not, resulting in smooth, easy, virtually instantaneous drop whenever you need it.
• Upgrade Your Resolve: The Resolve rev2 internal update is backward compatible with existing Resolve Dropper Posts for 125, 160, and 200mm travel. Customers can purchase just the updated components and make the swap themselves while following the Wolf Tooth service guide.
• Low Stack Height: A super low stack height gets the saddle down and out of the way for more room to maneuver on the rowdiest terrain.
• Light Weight: Resolve rev2 is one of the lightest dropper posts on the market. It’s as much as 26% lighter than other dropper posts of the same travel and size.
• Short Insertion Length: When a dropper post has a short insertion length, longer travel options are unlocked for more bikes. A short insertion length is vital for smaller bikes, frames with curved seat tubes, and frames with seat tubes that have bottle bosses.
• Travel Reduction with Spacers: The travel length of your Resolve dropper post can be customized at the time of order to suit your bike and saddle height. Simply select the number of travel-reduction spacers you would like to have installed when ordering and they will be installed by a Wolf Tooth factory technician before shipment. We also sell spacer kits separately for those who would like to have the adjustment made later by their local shop mechanic. If you are comfortable with working on suspension components, you may be able to complete the installation yourself.
• Patent-Pending Air External Filter: The patent-pending external air filter prevents dirt and debris from entering the chamber so your Resolve Dropper Post can perform with smooth precision every time you need it. Because it is external, the air filter can easily be inspected and if needed, replaced with just a retaining ring pliers.
• Diameter Can Be Swapped: The lower tube of the Resolve Dropper Post can be swapped to change between 30.9 and 31.6 mm diameters. You can buy a new lower section on our website and use video tutorials on making the swap, or you can send it to us and we can do the work for you.

Compatibility

• Compatible with bike frames that use 30.9mm, 31.6mm, and 34.9mm diameter seatposts with internal cable routing for dropper posts.
• The minimum insertion depth is clearly marked on the Resolve Dropper Post lower tube and varies between 90 and 182mm. Always follow the minimum insertion depth recommended by your bike frame manufacturer if it is greater than the number marked on your dropper post. Minimum insertion depth varies by travel length and is specified on the Specs and Dimensions page .
• The longest travel dropper post that will fit you and your bike can be determined using our dropper post length calculator tool.
• Spacers can be installed to reduce the travel of the dropper post. Custom built dropper posts can be purchased with spacers installed at the factory.
• If your dropper lever routes the cable head at the remote lever on handlebars you will need a knarp cable barrel found in our replacement parts.
• Compatible with any ebike that uses a conventional dropper post mounting and actuating system.
