The XPLR Collection - Making It Possible
Keep it simple, say "Explore". Gravel riding is whatever you want it to be, and so the XPLR collection has been designed to help you define your own ride style. The XPLR collection from SRAM, RockShox, and Zipp celebrates a new era of drop bar riding with three product sets to make gravel yours. Mix and Match to your heart's content, there's no wrong way to gravel. Gravel is what you make it, go where you want, and unlock unlimited adventure right from your front door.
Bigger Tyres, Lower Pressure, Greater Reliability
The 101 XPLR is Zipp's first purpose-built wheelset for gravel. The 101 XPRL's single-wall rim construction provides excellent compliance and vibration damping. This wheelset arms gravel cyclists with more control and durability over harsh terrain, providing a smooth ride quality that provides better control and a more comfortable ride, reducing fatigue. The ability to run large tubeless tyres at lower pressures is key to an adventurous and fun gravel experience. This wheelset is ideal for gravel racing, adventure, or any long day in the saddle.
Gravel Control and Durability = Speed
Based on Zipp's MOTO Technology, the 101 XPRL's single-wall rim construction provides excellent compliance and vibration damping. This innovative approach allows the rims to "pivot" from either side of the spoke bed while traversing rough terrain. As the wheel encounters obstacles, each edge of the rim is designed for compliance, creating the feel of extra suspension. For the rider that means durability, reduced fatigue, and greater control for greater speed. The 101 XPLR features the ZR1 hubset for better seal design for improved durability and for the rear wheel, a quicker response with 66 points of engagement.
Features
When you buy new Zipp wheels and components, you're now backed by a lifetime warranty for sales globally. This includes manufacturing defects, of course, but also for damage for intended use while riding.
The warranty is for Model Year 2021 Zipp wheels, handlebars, stems, and seatposts. It only applies to the original owner and is not transferable. Model Year 2021 and later components can be identified by the new Zipp logo. The lifetime warranty is for non-electronic products, so with the Vuka Shift AXS 90, the warranty covers the carbon extensions but not the electronics, which have a two-year warranty.
"The goal here is to make sure that as either a new or returning customer, you're getting better peace of mind with any incidents that might happen while you're riding your bike," SRAM Director of Dealer Service Mark Van Gemert said. "Any riding incident is covered under the warranty policy on the 2021 product."
Specifically for gravel riding, the lifetime warranty applies to 101 XPLR, 202 and 303 wheel models.
An authorized dealer must process warranty claims. Take your Zipp product and original proof of purchase to the dealer where it was purchased to start the process. To expedite service interactions, we recommend registering your wheelset at zipp.com/reg. Registration, however, is not necessary to use the warranty policy.
Important: Proof of purchase is required with or without product registration.
