Performance and Comfort in One Jersey
The name Velocissima means very fast in Italian, and indeed there's a lot of speed in this jersey, even though it wasn't designed as a race jersey. The short-sleeve Castelli Velocissima Women's Jersey brings together three different fabrics for fit as well as comfort. The main jersey fabric is a soft 100% polyester micromesh with Castelli's ProSecco wicking treatment to keep you dry. Side panels are in a stretch mesh for ventilation and improved fit. The sleeves are lifted directly from Castelli's pro race jersey, but in this case because the four-way-stretch fabric with raw-cut sleeve endings is as comfortable as it is aerodynamic. The fabrics are piece dyed for rich colour, and then they get a sublimated overprint for the tone-on-tone graphic over the shoulders.
