DMR's Bread and Butter
DMR's roots lie in the dirt jump/skate park scene. Starting in England over 25 years ago it was the V8 & V12 pedals that made their name. Fast forward to the present and they have become one of the best names in the hard tail scene, making incredible frames, components and hardtail jump bikes.
DMR Legendary Dirt Geometry
Throw a leg over and it is impossible not to smile. The simplicity of a hardtail frame and DMR's distinct short rear end, low standover height and steep 69 degree head angle give you confidence to throw, jump and spin until your heart's content. The 4130 chromoly tubing gives ultimate strength to weight for the rawest form of riding you will ever do.
Crisp Clean Lines
The first thing you notice about the Sect is its beautiful clean lines. The hydro formed tubing, integrated headset cups and seat clamp, and threaded bottom bracket turn heads wherever it goes. Details you never see in this category.
Bang For Buck Build
DMR equipped the Sect with an array of dirt components to make it the best value bike in its class. The RST Dirt fork features an upgraded chromoly steer and rebound damping adjustment. Tektro hydraulic brakes front and rear and a two-piece forged aluminium crankset with integrated axle provide unbelievable value at this price point.
Two Six Goodness
You may think 26 inch wheels are redundant, but they will always be the top choice for dirt jump bikes. The Alex DM24 double wall rims and KT DJ hubs add strength and durability. They also give you maximum clearance when you bend into weird and wonderful shapes over the jumps.
Pump/Skatepark Delight Machine
The dimensions of the Sect are where you want to be. With 740mm wide bars, a 2" rise and 40mm stem, control and stability is assured. Strong 24mm axle cranks and a small ratio single speed gear setup give you ample clearance and torque. Beefy 160mm Tektro M275 brakes will have you turning on a dime. If you want to build your skills the Sect is where it's at.
Pure Riding Thrills
The DMR Sect will slot in nicely to your bike collection. Dirt jump bikes remind you why you started riding and will complement all the riding you do. The firm and stable ride ensures every drop energy is carried through every transition. To build your skills, increase enjoyment, and exceed your expectations you will have trouble finding a better option than the DMR Sect.
This bike will be shipped partially built in a box and will require some assembling.
