This Effetto Mariposa Shelter Kit contains an amazing, self-adhesive backed, transparent, multi-layer elastomer designed to dissipate shock. Comprising a multi-layered transparent compound with visco-elastic behaviour it can be used to protect downtubes from rocks being kicked up from the front wheel or as a chainstay protector. Thicker than other frame protectors it should also reduce chain slap noise if it doesn't eliminate it completely. The Shelter Kit comes in sheet form with pre-cut elements specific for mountain bikes, to easily protect sensitive frame areas (chainstays, down tube, cable/frame contact points, horizontal tube against brake levers contact).
