The Fidlock drink bottles uses a unique locking mechanism that removes the need for a traditional bottle cage. This allows the rider to decide where on the bike they would like to keep their bottle. This is great for modern geometry mountain bikes, especially gravity focused bikes where suspension may make a traditional drink bottle cage difficult to mount. The Fidlock base (Sold separately) has rubber tie mounts to can be connected at various points around the frame. The mount (What would previously have been your bottle cage) is sleek and minimal so when the bottle is not attached you can hardly see the mount. A great win for aesthetics. The locking mechanism is very secure and "snaps" into place. This means you aren't going to lose your bottle on the roughest of descents.
