Revolutionary 3D Printed Padding

With the evolution of 3D printing Fizik has developed a new saddle with adaptive padding crafted by carbon using its revolutionary additive manufacturing process called Digital Light Synthesis. By using ultraviolet light projection, oxygen permeable optics, and programmable liquid resins Fizik produces parts with excellent mechanical properties, resolution and surface finish.

Unprecedented Zonal Cushioning
Using Carbon technology it is now possible to create multiple functional zones within the saddle.
These zones can be tuned separately for specific mechanical properties and can be joined together progressively and seamlessly in the same padding. This detailed lab tuning combined with professional real word testing has resulted in a greater understanding how the pressure patterns change according to different bike geometries, riding positions, and riding styles.

Fast Scalable Production
By remapping the production process Fizik can produce saddles five times faster. This means more time and volume can be devoted to design and field testing. From weather and UV testing, to riding position and load testing, whatever you throw at this saddle Fizik has tested it.
