Jamis Beatnik: Take it to the Streets

There is simply no better material suited for the rigidities of urban riding than steel. Unlike aluminium, steel naturally damps or absorbs the shocks and vibrations of city streets. Aluminium simply transmits it, like a tuning fork, which is why aluminium frames are often criticized for their "harsh" riding qualities. Besides, on a fixie, where vintage reigns, skinny steel frame tubes are just right

Build Information:
Pushys go to great lengths to get bikes to their customers as fully built as possible. Due to shipping restrictions, there is one part of the build that Pushys mechanics cannot complete, which is fully mounting the handlebars onto the stem. We strongly recommend that a qualified bicycle mechanic undertakes the final fixing of the handlebars before riding. Failure to do so could cause a bicycle malfunction and result in serious injury for which pushys.com.au will not be held liable. Any assembly undertaken without professional assistance is at the customer's risk and any damage resulting from faulty assembly will not be covered by the warranty.
