The PowerTap P1 Pedal power meter analyses pedal force in real-time to determine which portion of that force is directed to drive the bike forward. PowerTap pedals measure both left and right pedal power allowing you to detect imbalances in pedalling efficiency. The pedals are powered by a user replaceable AAA battery, which is quick and simple to replace.
PowerTap pedals are a breeze to install; use an 8mm hex key and tighten to the crank manufacturers recommended torque. This simple design means you can easily swap these pedals between bikes if required.
