The RockShox Monarch Plus LF-320 Tune Assembly shock absorber is the part of the shock absorber that is responsible for compression and rebound speed.
All Rock Shox rear shocks are shipped with compression and rebound at the factory. Two suspended frames are of different configurations: geometry, leverage, tilt angles. And so, when you installed a new shock absorber on your frame, you suddenly notice that the shock absorber is not working correctly. This means you need to get the right compression and rebound. The Tune Assembly is just that part with which you can correctly tune your harness.
Tune Assembly is a set of washers in a specific order and in different configurations that are responsible for compression and rebound. Two letters HH, ML, LL, etc. stand for High, Medium, Low. The first letter is responsible for rebound, the second for compression.
