DECOY Core 4 - Why You Want It
Flick the switch and rack up the miles. With low-slung weight and 85Nm of powerful torque, the Shimano EP8 motor and 540Wh battery take nothing away from the ride experience - they only add to it. Charge through challenging terrain, corner like you're on rails and attack loose, technical climbs in total confidence. Whether you're riding solo or with the crew, this is an all-new dimension of fun that opens the world for exploration.

Kit Level - Uncompromising Factory Team Package
CORE 4 is where things get serious. Across the board, each component means business, ramping up the performance for pinpoint control where it counts. A revolution in customisation, the FOX Factory suspension delivers premium on-the-fly tuning options, and SRAM Code RSC brakes bring composure to the wildest trails with podium-proven power. Steeped in race heritage, the Maxxis tires and Renthal cockpit are the choice of privateers worldwide, making this bike feel like a custom ride straight out of the box.

Geometry You Can't Overlook
The geometry of the DECOY 29 has been specifically designed for All-Mountain riding. Compared to the DECOY 29/27, the head angle and seat tube angle are steeper, which shifts your centre of gravity further forward. The chain stays are slightly longer than on the mullet bike, which adds more pressure on the front wheel. For better drive, we've also made the rear suspension layout even more independent of pedalling forces, so that you can relax a bit more on the way back up the mountain. The big 29-inch wheels roll over obstacles with ease and provide for great stability even at high speed. The Flip Chip lets you adjust the geometry by making the head angle and seat tube angle 0.5 degrees steeper and raising the BB by 8mm.

E-Bike Heart
The YT custom 540Wh battery is unique and designed to inject more power into a smaller, integrated space to retain the clean looks seen across the YT range. The thirty-cell design uses cutting-edge technology to deliver dependable performance and long-lasting power and is easy to remove with a 5mm Allen key for indoor charging.

The EP8 Motor Is Just Better!
Enhanced power and a more natural riding experience; were the key development goals for the Shimano EP8. The results are impressive: 85Nm of torque and a silky-smooth feel, all within a lighter and more compact housing. In addition, it sees 36% less friction, has a more responsive clutch mechanism, and it's even quieter than before. The E-TUBE PROJECT app allows for the customisation of the power profiles, letting you adjust the bike to your needs.

Flip Chip
The DECOY features a Flip Chip on the 29 build, to allow you to adjust the geometry according to the terrain and your riding style. The Flip Chip eyelet can now be found on the shock yoke. The low position provides for a more aggressive headtube angle and lowers the BB, ideal for fast tracks. In the high position, the headtube angle is 0.5 degrees steeper and the BB is higher for more ground clearance and better performance on steep climbs.

Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH)
The DECOY now sports SRAM's universal derailleur hanger which guarantees worldwide supply of spares. Sent it too hard? You should be able to find this part in any bike shop around the world.
