Postman Seatpost

You called, and YT listened. They've equipped the Decoy Uncaged 10 with longer dropper posts across the size range, improving clearance for enhanced performance on steep terrain.

Synthesis Wheelset

Fox DHX Performance Shock

The Fox DHX Performance coil shock offers buttery-smooth performance and a supportive feel on gnarly, high-consequence terrain. This plush FOX DHX coil spring unit ramps up the traction and has an insatiable appetite for untamed terrain. Coil is too linear? No way - this shock is the perfect pairing for our progressive V4L linkage.

Fox 38 Fork

The Fox 38 is revolutionary, with its super-strong chassis being purpose-developed for modern, long-travel enduro bikes. The grip cartridge offers optimal damping and delivers sublime feedback.

Carbon Hybrid Frame

Our High-Modulus carbon/aluminium hybrid frame crushes it on the trail, offering immense strength, lightweight performance, and a dynamic ride feel.

Flip chip

Situated at the lower shock mount, the Flip Chip makes it quick and easy to adjust the geometry according to the terrain and riding style. The low position provides for a more aggressive headtube angle and a bigger BB drop, ideal for fast and rough tracks. In the high position, the headtube angle is 0.5 degrees steeper and the BB is higher. The higher BB gives more ground clearance and better performance on longer steep climbs.

Protection

Made from super-tough and wear-resistant PA 66, the downtube protector is bolted on and can be easily replaced. It is designed to wrap around the bottom bracket and thus provide extra protection for the side walls of the downtube from impacts and scratches. Additionally, the rubber chainstay and seatstay guards help prevent unwanted noise from the drivetrain.

Bearings

In addition to the double-sealed industrial bearings used, all pivot points are equipped with an additional seal to keep water and dirt at bay, this protects the bearings and extends their service life.

Headtube

To optimize the weight-to-performance ratio, the contact surfaces for the integrated headset are pre-formed directly in the frame. Additionally, the ZeroStack design ensures a high level of durability thanks to the integrated bearing shells.

Internal Cable Routing

For optimal protection, all cables are routed almost completely through the frame. They are guided through the chainstay with internal cable tubes, while they are wrapped in foam as they pass through the main frame to reduce weight and at the same time prevent noise. All cable ports are protected against the ingress of dirt and water with cable plugs. Additionally, the cables are secured on the head tube with cable clamps and they are routed over the main pivot to prevent chafing.

Virtual Four Link

Our award-winning V4L suspension technology provides sensitivity off the top, with good mid-stroke support and plenty of end-stroke progressivity. The nice pop helps get the bike airborne whenever wanted, while the end-stroke progressivity makes sure the rear shock doesn't bottom out even on monster jumps. The high amount of anti-squat keeps the rear suspension neutral and improves pedal efficiency.

Motor: Shimano Steps EP8

More power and an even more natural riding experience - these were the main goals when developing the Shimano EP8. The impressive result: 85 NM torque, 300 grams less weight and 10% less volume compared to its predecessor. This makes it the lightest 85 NM motor on the market. In addition, the internal resistance has been reduced by 36%, the responsiveness and the clutch mechanism have been improved and the noise level has been reduced. Thanks to the E-TUBE PROJECT app, the DECOY can be perfectly adjusted to the rider and the trail - combining outstanding E-MTB power with the natural riding experience of a bio-bike. Add enhanced weatherproofing and its ready to deal out powerful assistance as you demolish every climb.

YT Custom Battery

We developed the 540wh battery ourselves to get more power in a smaller space. So we were able to fully integrate the battery into the down tube and also realize the clean look of a YT on the DECOY 29. For dependable performance and long-lasting power, we use thirty battery cells of the very latest technology. The battery is fully integrated in the downtube and is held in place by two dedicated bolts. The battery can be charged both on and off the bike, and the cover, which protects the cells and electronics inside, is easy to replace in case of damage.

Integrated Power Switch

The On/Off switch is tucked away underneath the top tube, which protects it against damage and dirt while also giving the frame a clean look.

Fork Impact Protection

The Fork Impact Protection prevents damage to the frame in case of a crash or a failure of the Acros BlockLock headset. The Acros BlockLock headset limits the range of motion of the fork in order to protect the frame.
